Space
There’s a spaciousness in the desert that opens me up — not just outward, but inward. I didn’t know how much I needed space until I stood here, surrounded by sky and quiet and the towering calm of this cactus, grounded in the pink hush of spring.
Space isn’t always a physical thing. Sometimes it’s an emotional breath, a pause in the pace, a moment that reminds you that you don’t have to fill every silence. This photo reminds me of the gift of holding still, of standing tall without urgency. It’s a landscape, yes, but it’s also a mirror — showing me where I’ve made room, and where I still need to.
