my story

shaped by experience. still becoming.

I believe we are shaped by every experience—gently, unexpectedly, sometimes all at once.

Even the moments we thought were unremarkable…
Even the ones we wished away…
They leave their mark. They press into us like fingers into wet clay, forming something we can’t quite see until we step back.

For me, the shaping has come through love and loss, motherhood, marriage, grief, creativity, stillness, and starting over. It’s come through diagnosis and understanding, through silence and speaking up, through walking away and choosing to stay.

I didn’t always see it as shaping. At times, it just felt like surviving.
But now, I can trace the lines back.
And what I see is a life reassembled—by intention, by tenderness, by practice.

This space, and the work I share here, is part of that ongoing shaping.
It’s where I write, make, notice, and try again.

And it’s offered with the hope that you’ll see your own story reflected here, too.
